BTEA’s SAFEBUILD forum shines light on mental health in construction
The Building Trades Employers Association (BTEA) in Manhattan held its annual SAFEBUILD national industry forum, shifting the focus to include mental wellness and suicide prevention. Addressing the high rate of suicides among construction workers, BTEA leaders emphasized the need to promote emotional wellness. The conference featured discussions with experts, government officials, and union representatives, aiming to provide resources and support for workers facing emotional challenges.
