Cal/OSHA Expanding in Three Regions
On August 10, Cal/OSHA unveiled plans to expand its presence in Fresno, Santa Barbara, and Riverside counties. Temporary satellite offices will be set up initially, with the goal of establishing permanent office locations, including regional and district offices. This expansion addresses increasing operational demands, complaints, accidents, and proactive inspections, primarily in high-hazard industries. Cal/OSHA’s focus is to enhance services for workers, employers, and community-based organizations. The move reflects the state’s commitment to better workplace safety and aligns with its dedication to worker well-being and support.
