Fighting Fatigue
A workplace fatigue survey by the National Safety Council revealed that over two-thirds of employees feel tired during the workday. Fatigue leads to decreased cognitive performance, reduced productivity, and an increased risk of safety incidents and workplace injuries. It costs U.S. companies $136 billion annually in lost productivity. Factors contributing to fatigue include night shifts, long hours, and insufficient sleep. Employers should address fatigue through education, policies, and programs. Introducing wellness products like compression garments and orthotics can help alleviate fatigue and improve employee energy levels and overall well-being
