OSHA Cites Cheltenham Construction for Repeated Safety Violations
Cheltenham Construction Services (CCS) is facing scrutiny for ongoing workplace safety violations. In a recent announcement on August 22, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) revealed that investigations into CCS in Missouri uncovered safety lapses. The inspections found instances where workers were operating at heights exceeding 6 feet without proper fall protection systems, safety nets, or guardrails. Additionally, the company was cited for failing to protect workers from eye and face hazards while using pneumatic nail guns. OSHA issued CCS with two repeat and two serious violations, amounting to proposed penalties of $334,618.
